Lima Municipal Court Judge Tammie K. Hursh announces that on Valentine’ Day, February 14, 2022, she will be performing wedding ceremonies all day. Couples wishing to be married that day will need to call 419-221-5213 by February 11, 2022 at 5:00pm to schedule a time for the ceremony.  Appointments will begin at 8:30am with ceremonies scheduled every 20 minutes until 12:00pm. Weddings will recommence at 1:00pm and continue every twenty minutes with the last appointment at 4:30pm.  It is expected that time slots will be filled quickly so schedule early. 

As a reminder, couples will need to have their marriage license and a photo id. There is a $10.00 filing fee. Marriage licenses for those residing in Allen County may be obtained at the Allen County Probate Court.


Judge Rodabaugh will perform ceremonies on Tuesdays and Fridays at 3:30 p.m.  In order to schedule an appointment, please call the Court at (419) 221-5275 and select option 3 and the option 1.

Judge Hursh will perform ceremonies on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. In order to schedule an appointment, please call the Court at (419) 221-5275 and select option 3 and then option 2.

Additional Information

Prior to the marriage ceremony, you must obtain a marriage license from the Allen County Probate Court, Fourth Floor, Courthouse, 301 North Main Street, Lima, Ohio (telephone: (419) 223-8502). When scheduling your appointment, please remember that the ceremony must be scheduled within 60 days from the date the license is issued. You will need to bring a photo ID and marriage license with you on the day of the ceremony. There is a $10.00 court cost fee to be paid the day of the ceremony at the Municipal Court Clerk’s Office – Civil Division, Second Floor.

Please dress appropriately. Guests are welcome, however you do not need to bring witnesses. Pictures are permitted.
